Day 2 of testing my limits at CrossFit. I am pretty sure my rib is out right now – maybe not a lot but I can definitely feel it. Again, I wanted to avoid any dynamic movement so I did some back squats for strength work today.
All reps were 1 1/4 squats!

On my work sets I really focused on being explosive out of the hole. Not very heavy but it was definitely good work on maintaining good form!
Then the workout

7 pull-ups
7 thrusters (65)
I opted to take the thruster from the rack since I still don’t want to clean anything off the floor. I was afraid my hands would be super soft but they held up fine (as did my rib) on pull-ups. Although C2B was the standard, I could give a shit less while injured. Total time was 12:20.
Row workout:
5-minute warmup (1,175m)
30 intervals of 20 seconds work, 30 seconds rest.
This got real hard, real fast! My total distance in the 10 minutes of work was 2,848m (average split of 1:45.3/500 @ 30 SPM). In general I got faster the entire time but man I was dying. Good work for sure but my legs are toast!
